Default Hunting grounds in south atlantic

i love my ixd2 boat (3rd patrol in May 1943, first 2 lasted 60 days, and i return to base physically (not teleport)) and i'm just wondering, where are the hunting grounds in the south atlantic? i sail and sail till nearly out of fuel then have to return to base.

Try off Freetown in Africa and the Brazilian coast up to Guyana and Trinidad. Don't be afraid to sneak into the Caribbean too.

You should come across tankers heading out from the north of Venezuela. But there are air patrols in the area.

Try to go into the caribian sea lots of heavy tankers there in june -august 1942-43-44

I had some excellent patrols by "parking" about 200 kms WNW of Freetown, then intercepting and following convoys. This gave me two-three weeks of unibterrupted action. On one instance, got rid of all the escorts. Four small freighters survived after I ran out of deck gun ammo.
