Youve actually answered your own question here.

There is a danger here. These Dem politicians in Congress are targeting specific individuals who have received some money that they, for political purposes, just do not want them to have. So they're going to pass a law allowing the government to confiscate that money. Regardless of the inappropriateness of AIG bonuses, the government wielding this kind of selective enforcing power over individuals and their property for political purposes is much worse. And as we all know, the government not only knew about the bonuses beforehand, but have acknowledged they're legal contracts (no law has been broken), and Obama himself got a little bonus himself from AIG. Is he going to give it back? This stinks to high Heaven.

Sea Demon - see my post above. It's crazy why the common person can't see this.

I did view what you wrote. And you are absolutely correct about the mushrooming effect. You get the government you elect I guess. People wanted over-reaching big government????...They voted for it. They got it. Time for people with a vested interest in the country to wake the hell up. Things like this are going to affect everybody. It's not good at all.

Lol, there seems to be some kind of political turmoil in the US of A, are we all political extremists here ?

Ok, here is 1:22 min of rage for everyone: some Norwegian Punk-Rock:

My understanding of policies fits on a beer mat:
The motto of the French revolution: liberty, equality and fraternity has found its way into all modern constitutions..
Freedom and Equality are conflicting principles. The „Rich“ accentuate „freedom“, freedom to be left alone to make more money and to spend the money (small government). The „Poor“ lay stress on „equality“, they want part of the cake and ask for state assistence (big governement) which imo is legitmate insofar as to create equal opportunities to climb up or fall down the social ladder; it is never too late to break out.

And Brotherhood, that is the glue to keep it all together.

And let's not forget about the principle of effeciency.
