Well, as we have stated all along, the media with shivers up the leg when seeing Obama will turn on him in short order. Currently they are building a strong case for the media to do just that.

How about the $170 million Citi is spending to remodel their Park Ave offices---renovations they say will save money in the long run because they are "consolidating"....

Actually - WE are the ones "stuck" with this. Its our tax money after all.
While the dems do have this boondogle tied around their neck, the fact is that the first "stimulus" package - put out by the gop - was even less "restrictive" in its rules. The mere fact that the reps got away with the first one is the reason the dems pushed this one thru - helping their own political backers and special interest groups. But look on the bright side - the next stimulus package will be more "structured" = so they can spend more of OUR money the way THEY want. There was an amendment that got removed in negotiations - and it was the administration that had it taken out. It would have taxed the bonuses at 35%. While it was not aimed specifically at AIG, it would have at least recovered about 1/3 of the cash.

no more stimulus packages. We are done stimulating large corporations that are failures. The corporation will still continue to fail. Those that ran them into the ground are do it again. Most have not paid their taxes!!!!!!!!!
