Default The Obamameter

So far, has kept 75% of promises, but he has a long list to go.

Ha, I saw this earler. I'm kinda thinking if he breaks a lot of promises, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

The fact that he has kept any promises is a step ahead of most of the leaders in the United States.

Not true. Politicians always keep some of their promises, but they're usually the promises that we never hear.

Well I'll bite...its been how long?

What could you do in a 200 person company in one month after replacing the whole management team to turn it around?

Do you know Jack

Obama never promised a rose garden. Just some promises to do the best he can to get this rudderless ship back on course. As Niki said, some promises we don't want to go through! What we need to do is dump about 99% of the folks that make up Capital Hill

I don't know how accurate this phrasing is but when I hear "The president who has pledged to reverse much of Reagan's economic revolution ..." he is starting to strike out in my book. Looking like another Jimmy Carter president.

Yes. Unfortunately this guy has never run a business, never met a payroll, never managed a business for another party, never been in the military and led people, and has never created a job in his life. I find it a tragic circumstance that the Democrats decided to elect somebody with no actual qualifications to run the country. It shows he knows nothing about market economics if he's going to reverse a system which largely promotes business expansion, and rewards capital risk.

So far Obama's plans seem to take the incentive out of capital investment, risk, and business expansion. But of course the Democrat drones slobbered all over themselves because he sounded pretty last night. They don't know exactly the consequences of what he spoke last night. Yes, this is Jimmy Carter on steroids. And those of us who lived in the Carter era know what this means. Prepare for misery index part 2.

What he would like to do and the reality of it are two very different things. All his campaign promises were his "would like to do" list. Reality after winning looks very different then the "would like to do" list or his promises he has broken. Is a Jimmy Carter president really bad? Not really, after four years of Jimmy they threw him and his bags off the train passing threw Plains GA. That same train and deposit Obama back in Chicago just the same. Beside, see that botox lady off his shoulder to the right? Yeah, Pelosi, the bag that never blinks....she is the problem. Obama is a babe in the woods. They know it and ran this stimulus package the way they have wanted it for years. She is running this country.

I hear what you're saying AVG. But yes, a Jimmy Carter on steroids part 2 is going to be a bad thing. It will be bad for the country. The Carter years sucked. I don't see anybody wanting to return to double digit inflationary policy, double digit unemployment numbers, sky high interest rates in double digits, misery indexes, long gas lines, weak kneed apologetic foreign policy, dangerous military procurement policy, and hazardous reductions in overall military capabilities. And Obama is setting a stage that will make the Carter years look good. Carter wouldn't have even proposed some of the things Obama looks to be poised to do. I understand what you're saying, but forgive me for not seeing the silver lining here.

Look at the bright side...we are fresh out of canals to give away There is certainly no silver lining. No doubt. We did survive Jimmy and his brother Billy with his Billy Beer plus pissing on the runways of America. We will survive Jr League Government for the next 4 years. Will it be pretty? Nope
