As above - other nations subs have been added to 1.04, those who think there enough subs already in 1.03 - give me a break, are you telling me you'd rather see yet another four merchant types instead?? :rotfl:
No offence but lets have abit of variety here -if you dont mind!
I know you hardly ever see subs on patrol, but you hardly ever see battleships either, doesnt mean they dont matter!
Anyway, take a way those rare encounters and every patrol is rather repetative.. merchant/escort/merchant/escort/merchant/escort/.... a bit predictable dont you think?
I dunno, Is it just me - or after you have sunk a Large Cargo for the millionth time, you kinda want to engage somthing else for a change.

Its a shame about the limited behavior of Ai subs, but dispite this they deserve to be represented, why? because they were there - around 15 Uboats were sunk by them.

I've seen several of the "S" class subs in GWX 1.03. Bad little boogers too! Don't let them start shooting their deck gun at you, their good!
Mostly I've seen them with a convoy, specifically down in the CF area in late 1940 and in 41. I'm sure they are every where though!

I've yet to have a torp shot at me, thank goodness!

Not sure if the poll meant that also, but I'd like to see the nearly useless Type IIA replaced by Flakmonkey's Type XXIII beautiful sub as a PLAYABLE player sub Leaving the same interiors of the Type II would be OK, just changing the external model and the performance and allowing the XXI Flotilla to assign you one in 1945

I took "all of above".

I'm still dreaming of ripping a convoy into peaces like I did with AOD with up to 7 uboats with me. But since I sunk me first enemy sub with GWX 1.03 I'm keen on seeing and identifying (and maybe sinking :-) each new sub contact

Errrrr I meant that lovely masterpiece of technique that distinguised herself proudly carrying the weigth of the U-Boat campaign in the first months of war, and had previously served so well in the Baltic sea under the always skilled, fearless and gallant finnish hands.

But can someone please replace it with the XXIII?????
