Hi everyone,
I've just dusted off SH4 and for the first time I am adding MODS. I've installed SH4 off the disc, then added the 1.4 patch. I've pulled down the MODS I wanted; a few sounds, graphics, and TMO 2.5, the 2.5 patch and RSRDC for TMO. Everything goes through JSGME properly, but when I start the game it freezes on the load screen. I've isolated it to TMO; when I remove TMO everything works as designed, including the other MODS. When I removed all MODS and left just TMO, it freezes. So the question is: do I need to start with TMO 1.X and update with all the subsequent patches to get to 2.5? Something else I am missing/doing improperly? ![]() |

The problem that you're having has to do that you're only playing with SH4 v1.4. TMO v2.5 is geared for the final version of SH4 which is v1.5. In other words v1.4 and TMO v2.5 are not compatible. ![]()

Exactly what cdrsubron7 said.
There's an old version of TMO floating around for 1.4 out there. At least there used to be. Honestly though, I suggest that you grab the addon for the bug fixes and mod compatibility.
