A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to ...

I was on patrol in the Luzon Strait when the easter egg sailed past, too fast for me to catch up, but I sat on the surface and watch a Jap Destroyer engage it with all batteries!! It was so funny I was mesmerised and nearly forgot to dive.

The egg of course is the Flying Dutchman.

I have yet to see the Dutchman myself. I can imagine it would be quite a sight watching a destroyer try to sink her.(At the same time I would be trying to take a shot at the destroyer.)

Go to Luzon Straits, stay to right of island string ,half way north, and watch out for warship moving fast on your radar reports. Thats it.

Captain Davey Jones:

Captain Jones and I taking out a Japanese aircraft.

The Japanese want the Dutchman really bad. Destroyers, patrol craft and air strikes can not take her down.
