I think I've seen this re-run before.

I'm thinking the article is intended to
a.) Make the tea party look bad.
b.) Further stoke the fires of polarization for ratings.

As for any civil war, I think the conditions are ripe enough to make it plausible, but at the same time highly unlikely because:

a.) Presidential term limits. Most rational people would wait and see.

b.) The government won't allow it. It will do whatever it takes to maintain status quo. Any person, or groups of persons, considered "rabble rousers" will encounter some very effective "tools" in discrediting and quieting them before they can do anything meaningful or effective.

I think the country is getting more divided. Civil war? Highly unlikely.

Unfortunatly you are correct tensions in the USA are higher than they where at the time of the start of the civil war. Though I do know that the military has been running exorcizes in cities and towns including low flying.

As to how the country will be divided thats up in the air it might be country(politicians) vs people (more of a revolution though), rich vs poor, or party vs party. I have spent a long thinking about this but IMHO is going to be inevitable as there are so many parallels between pre civil war and now.

LOL ucrank, you actually debated Bubbles?!

Kinda funner to bat him around a bit like a cat toy, than waste any real debate on it...Just saying.

I go for lols or shock value when I see a bubs thread.

Just have to watch out, every once in a blue moon he makes a great point, and it gets buried in his reputation as a firebrand or agitator.
"Gotta luv the bub"

I for one am a big fan, though he is silly at times , IMHO.

To me, Bubbles is kind of like the teacher (or any other adult) in a "Peanuts" cartoon or the guy talking to his dog in the "Far Side" comic: it's either a wah-wah of bad conservative hyperbole or all you realy hear is "Blah, blah, blah, OBAMA!, Blah, blah, blah, LIBERALS!, Blah, blah, blah, I'M RIGHT!, Blah, blah, blah, YOU'RE WRONG!< blah blah, blah..."...

There is hope one day he'll be able to sift out the gist from the gibberish he embraces...

I got faith in Bubbles, Vienna.

He means no harm, and is not a terrible person, a great start.

While kinda ultraconservative, he is one of us.

You have to kinda admit, you love to debate him, even crack jokes on him, he takes both really well.

Agree or disagree, gotta "luv the Bub"

(if that becomes a catchphrase, I want royalties..)

I disagree that he means no harm. He is clearly out to obfuscate the fact that UN sponsored FEMA death camps staffed by Nazi dentists are being established across the USA by pointing out that is what is happening. He's a key part of the disinformation campaign to keep the populace under the control of EBO.
