Hello y'all, I have not played SH3 for, maybe a couple of years now, moved on to SH4, and once I got comfy with the new way of doing things, and mastered (to a point) the manual targetting, I pootled around in that quite happily for a while, and also, because I have it sitting here, occasionally I dip me toes into SH5 - you gotta love the graphics! - and so these two, and a few other games have kept me sweet and occupied... but, but.. I still miss the FUN I had in SH3, and I want to give it another go.
Of course it will have to be the GWX megamod, and I thought I had squirrelled all the necessary files away, but can't locate them now.
All I can find is a nocd fix from 2005.
I think I recall something called emea with a green icon, and something about an update which has to go on before something else - but the details elude me, and if I can't recall the names I can't search for them. Can you help please? I am now on Windows 7 62 bit and am hoping that will not be a problem...

well thanks for that Jimbuna - but I think there are other files that need to precede Grey Wolf.... perhaps I am wrong though. Ta muchly ( smiles sweetly).

What SH3 disc do you have and what version is it?

The one I put on tonight is 1.4 - and it runs without the disk in. I haven't added anything else to it yet - just wanted to see if it would run as when I put it on this 64bit machine couple of years back, it would not display even though the game was running ( turned out to be that I needed to reduce the resolution).

As it is already 1.4, I assume I do not need to install the 1.4b emea file ( which I eventually located) after all, so it will just be the GWX files and JSGME.
