This is the main reason that I play with the LWAMI mod. There's a LOT more compatible scenarios for it.

Check subsim's download page, I uploaded my DWX scenarios.
And please do create and share yours too DWX is loathed partly because it is made by Russian community I'd think so. Thus the usual scenario makers aren't forthcoming in making scenarios for it. Frankly DWX is the most comprehensive mod for DW at the moment. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...p?do=cat&id=38 It would be a shame turning down DWX simply because there's lack of scenarios with it. Quite the contrary. All LWAMI and for stock scenarios are compatible with DWX I'd think so. And start to create your own and share them. Otherwise how things are going to change.

A few years ago I've unshelved DW, in order to try LWAMI mod; I've enjoyed it for a few weeks, but it wasnt enough to avoid re-shelfing it once again. Now this RA/DWX opens up a whole new possibilities and I'm totally happy they disagree with sonalysts by making new playable ships, when by obeying sonalyst's rule all we got after all these waiting years is DARPA..pff I hope RA/DWX brings some other non-usual ships and boats like FREMMs, Horizons and Scorpenes also. One other suggestion is to create grenade like depth charges just like those used late '50 and early '60, before the nuclear submarine era, and its associated doctrine, where surface ships chased and saturated detected ssks and forced them to the surface after several days playing the blind man's bluff! Regarding Mission Editing, well, I'm still in kindergarten at it; I'm reading its manual but I wish there was another easier way like for example wikis, editing tutorials or guides, with clear examples of each and every function. That would help immensily people like me, with basic knowledge but willing to do something! I remember back in the days and it was always because of this frustating trial and error mission editing where nothing really works as planned, that made me quit playing for a while: A while until forgeting or forgiving that fact! BTW, It was a surprise, a good one when I could finally try RA/DWX mod. Great job! |

You must have meant ASW rockets.
I believe DW has them. You need to get close to surface warships that are equipped with them and get detected for them to start launching their ASW rockets. If you want to test it feel free to play my As advertised (Korea) DWX scenario. There's big chance the AI will use their ASW rockets.
