Default What station is this?

this is from a JSDF training ship

my friend works at this station
my poor Japanese skills never allowed me to understand what this station is.

do you guys know?

All those buttons, looks like engine 'management' area to me. Long gone are the days of the greasy rags and spanners in a bucket. Just a simple, clean gas turbine or two in modern boats.

I'd echo the engine control room comment, the picture of a jet turbine is confusing though, unless it's a boat turbine. Not sure of their particulars.

All gas turbines work the same way so a condensed aviation version would be enough to pitch to the visitors that it is obviously set out for.

Not sure how the pic top left fits in either, it's obviously about engines as the bottom right it mentions Pratt & Whitney TF30 (F111 & F14a), the one above mentions DC10 and Airbus A300 which have General Electrics CF6-50s in common... who knows?

Newer Japanese ships use a GE model while the older vessels (used mostly for training) use a Rolls Royce model.

my poor Japanese plus Google translate and some guess work tells me that this is a training center or classroom of some kind(トレーニングセンター)
