Default Mk 18-2

Hello
I wonder if there is a MOD to use the MK18-2 electric torpedoes put into service from August 1944.
In advance, thank you.

The only thing I know about it is that the Mark-18 came in two variants. Mod-1 and Mod-2. Mod-2 was introduced in 1945 and was faster than the Mod-1. I don't know the actual speed differences between the two so, the question is: Is the game version of the Mark-18 already based on Mod-2 or on the slower Mod-1?

Thinking its based on Mod-1 because it moves at 29 knts in game but remember reading books about later patrols and the author(usually former skippers) talking about 33 knot speed of the electric torpedos.

I can only find this link http://www.microworks.net/pacific/ar..._submarine.htm and it doesn't cite any source as to where they got their info from. Where are you guys getting your info from?

This was to be a good weapon.

But this does not say whether such a mod exists ...
