Default Flaw with Silent Hunter IV

Hey guys,
I have discovered a flaw with Silent Hunter IV. The flaw is that the Anti-Aircraft gun barrel goes through the conning tower like a ghost through a wall while not being impeded by physical matter, that would normally impede or stop the AA gun from rotating. The Conning tower does not physically stop the anti-aircraft gun barrel, instead the barrel goes through the conning tower like it wasn't even there.

Video proof. For best results, view in full screen with HD. I know, it's dark, I was out on night ops at the time.

Is there any way to correct this? It would be nice.

Aim it higher while turning it?
Minor cosmetic problem. The one with the AA gun post being bigger than the conning tower walls itself was more of a problem.
But if anyone had an idea like sawing off some inches of metal, why not..

Whether or not the AA gun's barrel goes through the conning tower, that video does nothing to prove it. We need a daytime external camera view from above and an oblique angle clearly showing the barrel passing through the conning tower.

Even if this proves to be true, it's just eyecandy messing up. It has no bearing on how you play the game, any more than the sub with visible holes in the side being able to submerge safely, the apparently undamaged merchie which still sinks, the transparent conning tower if the sun is directly behind it, etc.

Eyecandy cannot be trusted as any indication of the real state of a simulation.

I have a picture proving that the Bofors gun sight in TMO is larger than the sight on the port side of the gun.

I must be missing something... why would this be so important?
