What about Steam? I logged into Steam briefly while home for lunch, and there was no sign of any automatic updates. If Steam is delayed, will the normal downloadable patch work?

When I launch SH5 I do not have any updating and still shows 1.15.

You might want to consider installing it first.

As this patch does not seem to automatically install how would anyone who does not read the forums ever know that improvements might be available?

Having said that I imagine those playing without forum advice and mods would probably have given up by now!
