Default Selling my SH5 (UK)

I hope this isnt against forum rules?

I am selling my copy of SH5, i just dont have time to play it, and perhaps someone who was cautious about buying it, will take a chance on it being a bit cheaper.

Its on ebay right now

Is the Serial No not tied to you Ubi logon ? So if anyone tries to register it to there ubi logon it won't work ??

I thought I read that somewhere , not so much about pirate copies , more to do with stopping Re-Sale of the game.

Unfortunately you cannot sell software that employ some kind of registering scheme.

What most people here on these forums failed to grapsp is that DRM is aimed mainly at killing the legitimate second hand market as well as discourage the casual pirates in the process.

Even the most sophisticate copy protection scheme will get eventually cracked. But the second hand market is a pain in the ass of publishers. Unfortunately for them, several courts around the world ruled that selling a book, a vinyl or CD (just to name a few examples of content which rest on some form of phisical media) is perfectly legitimate and so is selling an used piece of software.

The moment you insert some kind of mandatory registration tied to an account, selling the media becomes useless, even if there's no law preventing you to do so. In other words, the consumers get shafted once again.

Jesus, he's just trying to sell it with the account. No need to bomb the crap out of him.

I retract my comment for being too realistic for some people.
