Default Rear Hatch

So.. as my deck gunners are unloading all the shells we have on the boat into the side of an aircraft carrier on the horizon that is dead in the water, I decided it is a good time to check out the condition of the boat with the Chief Engineer as we are dead in the water.

I come around the back of the conning tower and I notice the rear hatch.

Check it out... you can click on the rear hatch. Wouldn't that be wicked cool if you could open it and climb down a ladder into the engine room or where ever it is supposed to go? Rock'n.

Kitchen you say? Spectacular... on deck watch and want a quick snack? Knock twice on the hatch and you get a +5 to morale.

yes, when you are in the kithcen look up and you will see the hatch, I believe this is some kind of emergency hatch, and it would be used for refitting the boat with food etc..

I remember the hatch in the kitchen on the USS Silversides also.. it's mostly for supply I think. But you are right.. might be an escape hatch too? Not sure how that works.
