Anyone have problems with D2D activation?

I wanted to try TMO, so I installed a separate version of SH4, patched to 1.4 then bought, d/l and installed the U-boot addon (1.5) from D2D. Come time to run the game a window pops up asking for an activation code. The fields are already filled in so I click on online activation and I get 'invalid key.' Tried manual activation number, same result. So I contacted D2D 'support' and got a form email saying to drop firewall and run sh4.eve with admin credentials (Vista). Tried that several times, didn't work. Everytime I answer D2D support's email, or online ticket, I get another form email telling me do the same thing. Grrrrr!!

Default direct2drive - To the last, I grapple with thee

I just dealt with a similar situation. Loaded SH4 from DVD then loaded 1.5 U-Boat missions from D2D download after an XP re-install. Could not get a successful activation from the direct2drive portion. The solution was to contact Ubi support via email and have them add new "activations" to my U-Boat missions download. The process took a total of five days.

As someone in these forums has posted in their signature... just order the DVD next time. Can't say that I'm pleased with having to "ask for permission" just to re-install my game. All's well that ends well I suppose. It works fine now.

You know, one of these days, if i can find the motivation to do it, i should take TMO 1.9, and make a SH4 1.4 compatible version of it. Doing so is either going to be, "not as hard as i thought", or "More work then i thought", the idea of finding out makes me wince.

I've got the D2D version and have had no problems to date with it. I enter the activation key I got emailed to me and voila! I've also uninstalled and reinstalled quite a few time as well. But even so I'm thinking I'll want a hard copy sooner or later.

I had a similar problem. Wolves of the Pacific I had no issues, but when I tried activating U-boat missions I kept getting Error:unknown reason. And like mentioned below I emailed support and they re-activated my code on their server within a day of my request.
