How come i have not been promoted

i also have sunk 308640 tonnes of allied shipping

i am using GWX 3 SH3 Commander

Whats your average tonnage per patrol?
Do you use the "Realistic Career Length" option?

Well, i just wanted to say that if your tonnage at the end of each of your patrols is less than the "promotion value" of the next rank then the game will not promote you.

And... yes, your remark about the SH3Cmdr setting mentioned above is correct. I wonder why i mentioned it...

can you be promoted higher than kapitänleutnant?

Not in GWX3. Yes in stock game. As far as the others supermods are concerned i don't know.

If you open the Basic.cfg file (i think) hopefully you will find the the answers there. I'm sorry but i'm too tired to list the details.
