Default [TEC] Skin application question

Hey, I was wondering if it is possible to have two skin files applied,( like the way SH3 ship skins were), without using the .dat to make an embedded image. I think it could be possible, maybe tricking the game into thinking it is a bump map file? Hope I made that clear enough, kind of hard to explain.

Thanks-miner

Yeah, not very clear.

As far as I know, SH3 Ships only have 1 TGA file applied at a time.

SH4 (geez been awhile) has IIRC 3 DDS file at anyone time. Texture T01, Bump N01 and the Occlusion O01.

I'm not sure what you are trying to ask.

Edit - You can include colour information (like the default texture) on the Occlusion map if you needed additional texture space.

In SH3 the ship's .dat includes the deck textures separate from the hull textures. I was wondering if it is possible to convert and use these textures as separate skin files, using two T01's, so an AO map can be applied to the model.
