Question.....:)
Howdy guys,here is the question....Is there anyway to not have to do everything you need to do at the start of a campagin.IE=pick your guns etc,and crew every time you start a new one??
Also I've given up o the enemy planes..No matter what I do they will not attack me..I have tried everything and taken bits and pieces from different mods and nothing helps.... ![]() |

Clay, on the planes, you must have some mod soup going there. I'm playing TMO, attacking a really nastily guarded convoy in the north end of the Formosa Channel. They've called in air support three times so far to try to shorten my lifespan and those planes were not carrying decorative ribbons or birthday cakes! Stuff went boom and I dove for the bottom quickly and enthusiastically!

I found a BB and Carrier late 44 with 6 escorts. I was 14nm away, but they picked me up. I ran and they finally went back, but planes are keeping me under..I'll be lucky to get an end around. It's amazing, planes were vectored in and you can see them making circles searching where I was earlier. |

Planes rather consistently kick my butt around... if they are not attacking something isn't right. Maybe I should try YOUR mods... <G>

From reading the notes of RSRD, the latest version he changed plane traffic. Stock planes drove so many crazy, every good mod maker cut them way back. I liked what lurker did with latest RSRD. He put in more plane traffic in a reasonable way. It there is a lot of jap activity, expect a lot of planes, even more than stock. Take the Solomon's during 42, so many jap planes...but that's realistic. You get out of an area infested by japs, it goes back to normal traffic, which is very few.
With the many added planes and harder settings with TMORSRD, planes are about perfect....Love the way they fly near convoys and TF, constantly hunting you down. |

I really think RR is right, you have mod soup. If you're having problems now, you will later.
What mod's are you running would be the best place we could start and help you? You need to stick with one supermod and possibly RSRD. Yes, there are a possible 100 mod conbinations, but you don't know what you're doing mod soup is a mess. Certain files you don't want to overwrite, why some are no problem. |
