Could anyone tell me which node inside the materials.dat I must edit to be able to affect the smoke that pours out when ship's on fire? Under the smoke_volum2, there's 4 different nodes is it one of those?

Hi!
Have a look into the particles.dat file and look at fire big -> smoke and fire small -> smoke. There have a look at the particle generators and look at the used material. Copy the ID and search in the material. dat file. The search results are the images used for the smokes. That´s it ![]() greetings Han |

Ow bollocks... didnt remember there was particles.dat too.
![]() Thanks! ![]() Ow and I wasnt looking for the image files, but the settings to change if I want, for example, have the smoke particles 'live' longer. But the particles.dat I believe is the answer. |

Have a look into the particle generator and look at the particles 0;1;2. They have all the same settings.. you have to adjust life, weight and maybe velocity. greetings Han |
