My understanding is that if you have injured crew members (not dead ones), and you put them in the same quarters as an officer or PO with a medic qualification, then the injured crew member may get healed up and return to duty before the end of the patrol. Previous discussions have included speculation about whether the presence of a medic accelerates the rate at which fatigued personnel recover. However, I don't recall anyone being able to definitively demonstrate any impact of medics on fatigue recovery.

Never had any wounded/injured crew members... only healthy or dead ones.

Different problem here. I have had wounded crew. I have had medics. Never both at the same time.

Yes, I wouldn't put them in the same compartment with a medic unless they were extremely wounded otherwise they will recieve the Wounded Badge, in most cases I haven't had any wounded or dead on the U-93. They will never get me!

In real life there was a medic on board but this was no doctor, more a male nurse. He could take care of small wounds, set broken bones and the like but he could not perform surgery (like when one was hit by shrapnel or bullets). I have noticed that if crew-members get wounded that they sometimes heal and other times don't heal when put together with a medic. It seems to depend how badly wounded they are.

my flak gunner earned the wound badge along with his Iron cross for shooting down a twin engined jobbie that was attacking us, he took a round in the process and he made it back alive.
he's back onboard now gunning away happily on his zweiling.

i had 2 men injured and i think the medic fixed them they had a red glow about them but after a while they were fine.
the fatigue is a big issue with my lot especially in critical situations they wont do anything

I have wounded fellows all the time. My watchmen, deck and flakgunners get always injured. I have crazy style to surface in the middle of enemy destroyers. :rotfl: But more likely they get killed right away.
I have 2 medics usually onboard.
