Default And Just Like That.....Everything Goes FUBAR....

Here's something interesting: playing SH 4 out in the Marinias patrol when performing either a crash dive or normal dive from a Jap Zero attack my sub will inadvertenly have every possible device from my sub get destroyed. No enemy is around and I'm talking everything: diesel engines - electric - bow and stern - all pumps - radar - radio - I can't save my sub and my crew dies a cruel and unsual death. I suspect that it is a bug but I've already installed patch 1.4 - this happened 4 times from Feb 1943.

Not only that, but it sounds like you're getting hit by a bomb. You should be diving as soon as the radar picks up the plane, not when it's attacking.

In the stock game the Zero has a larger bombload (by a factor of 2) than a RL Betty.

Default Update....

I went ahead last night out in the clear blue sea and did a crash dive. No planes or enemy contact. The sub disintergrates at 100 meters. The only mod I am using is the 1.4 patch.

100 meters is 328 feet. You hit crush depth. Don't go that deep.
