A question about the deck gun in GWX2.0

Hi all,

this is probably a stupid question, but here goes...

I am in a VIIb, and I beleive I should have a deck gun to use. However, when I go to man it, it shows no ammo. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Wibbs

You have to left clic on the ammo symbol on the right and you will see all the ammos loadind (220 i think).

Wibbs, I had the same problem at first. Then I realized that GWX doesn't automatically load up a default shell like stock SHIII did. You have to click on the picture of the shell type you want to load, then it will work the way you expected.

Forget to tell you that you have to add crew to your deck gun first and after that you go to you your external view of the gun and left clic on the ammo symbol.

Many thanks, have just sunk my first cargo ship with the deck gun - over 5000 tonnes

how many rounds, I am out on patrol in late '39 and I only use the gun on stuff that is less than 2000t. We sunk a Pelagic 850t with about 6 well placed rounds.

I am using GWX 2.0.
