It seems like it is not, which makes station keeping pretty simple, which probably wouldn't add much to the game anyway, but... just making sure.

You won't believe this then. I was once waiting for a ship to sink, my boat was at all stop 0 knots and the ship was at 0 knots. I used TC to speed up the sinking and I noticed my boat and the merchant drifting across the nav map. I had to go into real time and adjust my course and set speed to avoid crashing into the merchant.
This was in GWX 1.03. Have not yet been in a similar situation where I need TC to speed things up in GWX 2.0 I thought it was pretty realistic as I was in rough seas at the time and didn't think anything of it until I saw this topic. |
