SNES CD dev controller Playstation unreleased RARE

An unreleased development controller for use with the unreleased SNES CD dev kit. This is 1st party unreleased hardware. You won't get many chances to buy something like this.

Whether it's worth the price might depend on how much information about the as yet unreleased system could be gained from the controller (probably not much).

It was a controller for what became the Sony Playstation, after Nintendo pulled the plug on a joint deal with Sony, deciding that CD's had no future.

Sony revised the design a little, and the rest is history.
