Franco-German Friendship Ball

06 October 1940

You are invited to the first annual Lorient Franco-German Friendship Society Charity Concert and Ball. To be held at the Lorient Mayoritee. Organized by the Lorient Cultural Society and Kptlt. J.S. Balz.

Program:
Lorient Chamber orchestra -- Tchaikovski, Balz of the Flowers.
French Prisoner's of War Wind Ansemble-- Strauss, The Emperor's Balz.

Dinner and dancing 'til dawn.

Proceeds of this event will be donated to La Resistance.

Looking forward to seeing you at this great cultural event

let me get this right. It's a Franco-German Friendship Ball, but all proceeds go to "La Resistance?

How Chic of you Herr Balz to assist La Resistance. Of course you are well aware the French could not do it there selves.They cannot even save themselves. I believe they will need the assistance of the United States of America. To which they will forget to repay or help in the future, No?
