Many errors in the events.ini was repaired and some sounds reworked !! the events.ini crash game to desktop!!




JUST40's RADIO

What is just40's radio ?
Do you want to enhance Radio in your sub ?
listen REAL radio from 40 years during the second war !
the just40's radio mod realisation is like a REAL radio programes from 40 years


Volume 1 is available consacred to NBC during the second war.

During the second war NBC network brodcast overseas on the short wave
for US troops and american people.
The NBC radio broadcast Comedy Show, story's, commercial advertissing,
news and music like kraft music hall.
Listen old time radio stars and popular show from 40 years
( jack benny, abott and costello, the Aldridge family.....)
All show are brodcasted by NBC during the second war .
All news are related by NBC.
defaut news by ubi are added too
Music from 40 years are broadcasted
(glen miller, Al jolson, Artie shaw, the four wagabond and more....)

The sound are reworked for look like a poor sound radio transistor from 1940.
If you want get a real great radio atmosphere.

It seems that this mod overwrites the Washington radio frequency. Atleast the radio,ini file is excactly the same.

Is there a way to have both radio stations ? Washington AND NBC ?

Yes, instread of overwriting the current file just open the radio.ini from the modpack and copy its text into the current one. Then change the frequency to something rather different than the 22 that is the washington station.

my code for this station looks something like

[CHANNEL]
Name=NBC
Folder=NBC
Freq=10
Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000
;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 0.01 to 1
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.1

I chose to put its frequency at 10 because I want it to be the default station on the radio.

Note: I noticed that if you place radio frequencies too close it seems that they blend a bit. Just a warning.

Manually. I mean you could use JSME but it will overwrite your current radio.ini file. I have mine modded so I chose to just manually place everything.

Sorry if I am stepping on toes by answering this stuff. I know it is not my mod... but I thought I could be of some use.

I did download this and it came with a read me file.

I copied the music folder into my radio folder and copied the radio line item below the existing in the .cfg file in radio folder.

is that it?
