Default Flattops in the greywolves gwx mod/ expansion.

Hi all, i recently installed the above mod/s. I was wondering, because im not too good at engaging convoys and such, ive taken to raiding ports for shipping. Now, i was wondering, as ive seen several large warships docked in ports, does anyone know whether there is there any ports where Carriers are docked and if so where?
Also im playing the game on about 31% realism so renown isnt comming to fast altho ive just got nearly 60k shipping sunk my renown sucks, so is there a way to get more renown please let me know Oh and btw this new mod is cool as ******* congrats to the devs for a job well done. Thanks for your replys in advance.

I'm pretty sure the warships are semi-randomized; that is, they come and go at the different bases at different times. If not, it's made to seem that way to the player.

Of course if it was totally realistic you'd never get to raid a harbor at all. After getting snookered at Scapa Flow they made it very, very much harder.

The only way to jack up renown is by upping the realism settings. Kongratz on your BB

For renown, you could edit the patrols_0.cfg file..... (But that would be cheating, wouldnt it...) :rotfl:

yes, me too, soooo tempting in my little type II

as for realism settings, my suggestion would be to turn it up a bit, not all the way at first, that's for the real loonies (whom you should respect for their dedication of course ) but things like unlimited fuel and eels make the game too silly, especially eels
