For TC 1 Eyes Only

Gute Nachmittagskumpel,

Yes I do have too much time on my hands. A while ago someone posted a thread wanting to know if we should have a TC 1 sticky. Since I love TC1 I thought the Idea had some merit. I have set up a web page (http:\thereallygreywolf.com) for TC 1ers (everyone welcome). One of the main purposes of the site is to publicize that Silent Hunter is a great simulation and that Subsim is a great forum. I am not a web builder (this is my first attempt) and I hope this site works. I need help and all the comments, positive or negative, that I can get. The site is also set up to collect data on where and how we lose our U-Boots. The site also has a memorial section on those who have lost their U-Boots. With your permission I would like to provide links to some of your sites. I hope to have fun with this and need all the help I can get in regard to structure and content. He__, I need help with everything. The site will not fit up my stern so please be nice and don't suggest that.

It's a nice little page there mate.

I'm fond of 1xTC myself but only if i have time...and then only with the Type II Boot. Since the Greater Mods don't make you sail that far with the little one.
Can'T imagine to visiting the American Coast with 1xTC and an IXB; maybe when i get older an have even more time!

Although I don't really have the time to do 1TC, I really have to write and say what a nice site this is. I'll be adding it to my favourites and if I ever "come over to the dark side" I'll give you a shout.

1x TC is strictly for angry loners and the unemployable,...thats why I like it.

If you've got the time to play 1TC how do you afford the hardware to run the game?

Seriously, hats off to you guys who love the 'immersion' thing but no way could I manage it.

the biggest myth of 1x play --I dont have the time duuh whats the diffrence if you play for 3 hours at 1x or 1024x I know!!! at 1x you dont miss anything

Well...I'm not too keen on spending 3 hours exiting Kiel and not encountering any Enemies until week three of my "patrol". I respect you guys who play at x1 but you must all be librarians or Bonzai tree groomers, I mean, the patience!!!

if you want a REAL challenge, I'm hosting a x1024 patrol next week. That's right, everything including attacks and evasions at Max TC. Of course, it'll be manual targetting, but i will allow the use of event cam so that if you don't blink you might have a chance to watch your "hits".
The multiplayer mission will start at 19:00 and should continue until 19:07...

Very nice site. When finished it will be awesome! The pinging scared the bazoonkies out of me, LOL .
