Could the next 'Silent Hunter' be built by...us?
Think about it. We've had GWX, Open Horizons II, IRAI, TMO, and many other super-mods, could the entire modding community, working together, produce the best subsim ever?

To write a game is very, very difficult. A mod is only a very small part of a game.
I think its possible but i think it will fail like other fan projects.

There's that Imperial U-Flotilla thing that somebody is developing. I think its the Subsim guys. Not quite sure.

I'm not really a fan of WW2 sub sims, but I wouldn't mind helping on something like this from a coding or subject matter expertise standpoint...
