I, too, would like to know if this is possible... When I'm playing, I feel like I need to constantly pull the camera back because the resolution isn't right.

Try this - http://files.filefront.com/SH3_XPSP2.../fileinfo.html
Very easy to use and a readme is included. ![]() Unfortunately, SH3 was not designed to be multi rez, so this is the only workaround for us. Native widescreen suport is a problem, you may experience munchkins or squashed dials. This maybe fixable if you have a nVidia card and latest control panel.

I couldn't get it to work either, all I get is 1280x1024. This is ofcourse better than the original 1024x768, but still not what I want.

Hope the thread starter does not mind me posting this in here.
At the moment i am using my old 22 in CRT monitor which when i play all my games uses the full screen to display the picture. If i get a 22 ins wide screen monitor does the games use the whole of the screen height wise or does it show black bands at the top and bottom of the screen. I mean all games not SH3. Thank you gentlemen in advance |

On my system, GF 8800GTS card, the default setting in the drivers were to use the LCD screens, Samsung 22 widescreen, inbuilt scaling. That meant all games were stretched to fit the screen no matter what resolution was set in the game. And with no aspect ratio most games looked stretched, long and/or wide.
But no black borders.
