I'm afraid it is, only the scripted ships (SCR) layer will be there on a given datum, but the RND's could possible be somewhere else, and or not even in your specific mission at all, at that datum, if that is when I am right on this.

Just load the SH3 editor and the campaign and see for your self.

21 march 1940. menu of the hour : Loch Ewe the last base to scoutraid !!!!
then moving to the med.

U-51 has sailed around brittania and reached Loch Ewe Harbour with a bit of trouble.
a elco and some dangerous type of fly's started to attack me. dived to PD and set speed to 1 knot.
destroyed a armed trawler guarding the enterance (always handy if you need to escape fast)
destroyed in total 1 fly (swordfish), 1 large merchant (at scapa) and 2 armed trawlers (at loch ewe)

edit: GODDAMNIT!!! the harbour is full of neutrals and hospital ships.... no Fiji this time either...

starting attack on the only few brits there and then get the hell out of there before the coastal arty spots me

edit2: enemy ships in the harbour:
1 armed trawler
1 small merchant
1 medium merchant
2 fishing boats

Neurtals in the harbour:
1 hospitalship
1 passanger liner
1 large merchant
1 N type DD

coastal units:
2 flaks
around 8 arty bunkers

k after raiding Loch Ewe i spotted another base... Lerwick Sub Base.

now hear this... i know i was nutz and a compleet lunatic... but now it a bit to much for me to...

destroyed a DD with my deck gun whitout getting hit

edit: sank another DD with the deck gun near the sub base and got hit only 1 time

edit2: reached the sub base.
in the base are:
3 small fishingboats
1 DD
1 small marineverzorger
1 armed trawler
1 coastal tanker
1 S type sub

also 3 arty bunkers
and 2 subnets (on both sides of the shore there is a subnet... to pass stay in the middle)

edit3: for the first time ever im glad the subnets are here... they stopped a DD from chasing and DCing me
still took havy DC damage and hull down to 20% (from both harbours)

Have you not considered using SH3 Gen and/or SH3 Spysat ? :hmm:

It would save you posting all day and allow you more playing time

Just a suggestion. Some of the vessels you'll come across are based on random values and you info may not be valid for the next kaleun that comes along :hmm:
