Just getting back into this forum, so if this is the wrong place to post please excuse me.
I have Silent 3 and altho it is great I still can't get the same kick that
I got from playing Aces of the Deep back in 1995. I am 76 now and maybe I am uthening. (or maybe just senile)
Anyway when I finally got an old DOS going again to my diismay I found I am lacking the first 3.1/2 installation disk. I have everything else. Havn't a clue what happened to that. I would be ever greatfull if someone could upload that disk to me. I can't use a full downloaded version as it doesn't have a CD drive.

Hi every mates!
Just to say I found some very little misspelling in SH3Commander.
In the directory "x:\Program Files\SH3 Commander\Cfg", in the files "Menu variable_en.txt" and "Menu variable_fr.txt" the name of the radio station "attacked" by polish forces is written "Gliewitz" instead of "Gleiwitz" which is the real name, correctly writen in file "Menu variable_de.txt"".
The same mistake is in the file of the Night Club: "Nightclub_en.txt" and "Nightclub_fr.txt" and the name is right spelled in "Nightclub_de.txt".
It's easy to correct theses with notepad.
That Just for history fans

By the way SH3Commander is wonderfull.
It's very sad there is no SHIVcommander

Hi, hoping somebody can help with a glitch in SH3PatLogEd. Lost a couple of sinkings in Patrol7 and thought I would edit/add a credit for myself. Opened the Editor via Review patrol logs... Only to discover that the bottom half of the Editor, editing bar, help, about, Update, Add New, Delete, Save, Close are all missing no matter how big I make the window. Reinstalled everything but still the same.
Definitely using latest version from above with GW3.0 and cfg files installed.

I have found in my wharehouse Drive an application called "Autoreload SH3 Commander....

Just cannot find any instruction/readme !!
Does any one knows how to use it, and what it does....I dare not do anything with it before....

From the download link:

"This is the same as previous version - but Launches Sh3Commander instead of SH3 when activated.

Mod that configures the Torpedo Auto-Reload function within Sh3 to be Turned Off initially.

Mod contains just one file: AutoReload SH3.exe

This file can be run from any location. On starting the file - it will automatically start Silent Hunter 3.
Once the Game has loaded and started it will Turn the Auto-Reload to off.
Then the file will terminate leaving SH3 running.

Auto-reload can be turned back on by bringing up the Torpedo Panel - default is the 'i' key. And turning the checkbox to on. "

One problem I have noticed is that with GWX 3.0 + Commander the radar on the Type XXI (at least in the campaign) is broken. If I start the game from its own exe radar works normally, but if I start it via Commander it is listed as "destroyed". Now, it is not a big deal for me because I would not touch it anyway, as using active radar in the Western Approaches in mid 1944 does not feel sensible, but I wonder if somebody else has experienced the same.

Hi all

for some reason I do not know, i'm unable to add entries to May Patrol Logs, as from image.

I can only see my log, but i can't edit anything...

My SH3 Commander version is 3.2.0.203 and i only added Cfg files needed to run it with GWX3.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you finished that patrol? You can't edit the log until the patrol is done.
