Yes, the rank will always be Captain. It's meant to be less of a rank and more of a title. Damaged ships, just put a comma after the number sunk, then the number damaged and the word damaged. For example Warships : 6, 3 damaged or Merchants : 12 sunk, 4 damaged. I can heartily concur about the nature of realistic duds. I've never hated the sounds "thunk", "thud" and "clang" as much as in this game.

If you are given a mission to insert a spy or drop off a group of raiders, then it is considered a raiding party. No panty raids included

What should you do regarding the battle flag stats when you are given a new boat? Start over with a new flag and new stats? Or carry over all the kills to the new flag and continue on through your career?

On one hand, I have the same crew so I think I would like to carry over the kills we have accumulated? But on the other hand the flag is boat specific?

What are other SH4 Captains doing? What did Captains do historically? When a sub Captain received a new commission did their crew go with them?
