Hi guys, finally got my new hard drive and re-installed everything. Been down for a while and was totally shocked by the news of Dave's passing. Never shed a tear for someone I haven't personally known before.

I've started a new career and have been given the Trout. I don't see a skin for that anywhere and was wondering if that's in the queue somewhere?

I can certainly empahize with you about Dave. He touched a lot of folks that way.

As for the Trout, we hadn't received a commision request for it yet, but it'll be first on the list. Should be done before you get back from your first patrol (if you haven't already)

Nice to talk to you again DT. Missed this forum when I was dead in the water. Does that mean that I'll get the commision plaque for that boat? Not sure if I've got the terminology right on that...

Good to see you back here, too, gj. You should get the commision plaque for that boat since you are the first to request it. I haven't had much luck doing those. I've been meaning to get with sqk about that and I keep forgetting (getting old and too much going on). I've got the boat skin and the flags ready (gonna post them after this post). I'll give the commision plaque a shot, maybe I'll get lucky and I'll get it right this time :rotfl: . If I can get it right, I'll post it, too.

Just so's you know, it's a "combo" skin. It combines parts of of Foo's wonderful black skin and light weathered skin so that it should change from the early war black skin to the late war silver whenever that change is supposed to take place.

Please if you would, make some kill flags for my little sweet heart. SS-133 she old and not very fast, but I like her just same. The real S-28 has quite a history of her owe. For an antique she did her fair share and then some. Not only did she do six war patrols in the Aleutians, but in between war patrols she also did trainer duty for sound schools and got refitted with new up grades inside and out.
But the game has the S-28 assigned to the Asiatic Fleet and we just finished our 2nd and very successful war patrol. Please let me share the fun we been having.

Thanks, the USS Seahorse and her captain can now take a much-deserved extended shore leave. But I'm sure a strange space/time rift will suck them back to a dark December day of 1941..at least the captain!
