Yeah, well...my next career will be with manual targeting. The six-digit-figure tonnage is overkill :p I haven't even dared look at my kill tally as of late, I'm just about to embark on Patrol 23 and it's still April '44! BTW, do (Heavy) Cruisers count towards the CV/BB category?

Well, CV and BB are the only designations I have on the battleflag kit, but I don't know if there should be a designation for a heavy cruiser or not. Since only those two were on the kit I got from sqk when I started doing these, I just assumed those were the only two that were accounted for differently:hmm:

From the reseach I did ( not super deep ) only Capital Ships warrented designation.
Please correct me.

Thanks, should be soon on the conning tower. I can add the hull numbers on the bow (just need to experiment a little with font and size). The conning tower is a different story because it would be reversed on one side or the other.

After my first successfull patrol in an S-42 I was thinking Hmmmm. 1 BB and 4 Marus sunk? I wonder how or if I could paint kill markings on my sail? I stumbled on your excellent site. The Sig flags are way cool too. Since S boats aren't named how does that work? I found a cool site that lists boats and shows thier GTH patch on top @ http://www.navsource.org/archives/subidx.htm I'm checking out named boats for my request. Some of my favorites are still on patrol . Are those boats fair game too? V/R, CL

Well, actually, what I had in mind was more like this :



Killflag in the usual place and the boat number on the hull at the bow like I see in the pictures of the actual boat (except black lettering instead of white).

Let me know what you think. I'm in the process of uploading it at the moment, but if you want it on the conning tower I could add that instead, but it would be backwards on one side. The way it is now, it is correctly shown on both sides of the hull.
