I f I can make a sugestion Racerboy !?

You should release this Mod with just the
normal historical correct one Flag,

the secound flag should be a tweack file and optional...

Most of us want the Historic real aproach and the two
flags is not the Historical correct one!:hmm:

Just mi 2 cents!

it's already made that way! You use the tweak file to pick what you want as far as flags and pennants go. Does anyone read the included txt files I supply with my mods?

Sorry but ,
don't give a full read of the readme file cause mainly
in one place you say it's a WIP and in this
thread you mention Rel ( Released) but ons you get
inside there is just The VIIB Flags & Peng. for download
and I guess finished...

So thats the reazon I'm stating the above sugestion,
cause there is nothing but one Boat finished! :hmm:

I would make this sugestion if there was all boats
available for download!

all boats (and their Turms) will be done in time. The amount of time needed to do just one Turm is huge. Reflections have to be fixed, code added, new 3D models have to be made, adjustments made, tweak here, tweak there, it's very time consuming.

Ok lets get this strait,

I know all that you're saying, and cause that I made a sugestion,
I know that when a work is in progress you tweak here and there and everywere,
so cause that I made a sugestion for you to have an idea, of what it should
be the final work completed( Here comes the All boats)...

You are not talking to someone that doesn't know what is Modding and time consuming mate!?

I know it is so , don't take this the way it was not ment to go,
it was a simple sugestion to help, you understand why people
are talking so much about removing the secouynd flag!

no problem. I'm not taking this any way other than informational purposes. The mod will come with two flags regardless. There's been many requests for two flags. The tweak file will allow those that don't want the second flag to turn it off.

Heres a simple instruction should those want only one flag.

Double click on Minitweeker icon and it should look like above once open.

Next click on "Load Tweak file": In my case RB_7b_1Flags_1_04_tweak.txt

You should see "1" active in the VALUES. That means its on and active see below,

To change the Value active [1] or inactive [0] you put this # in the byte to the mid right New Value and then SAVE NEW VALUE. 1 for on and 0 for off

You can activate or deactivate the 2 flags and Halyard and 8 pennant here.

To deactivate "Enabled Flag #2" just click on it and put Value 0 into NEW VALUE and save. bingo.

It will show VALUE UPDATED.

If you want to take a chance and do more advanced tweeking for trial and error. Click on the upper link. see below.

Each one has more choices that are tweakable. Just keep a backup incase you bungle it up.

Thats all folks.

You don't put the tweaked files anywhere. Ok, I guess a little dissertation on how Mini-tweaker works is needed.

The mini-tweaker tool is used to adjust values in files. You have to have a pre-made 'template' file that tells the Mini-Tweaker tool where to find the value and what type the value is. This is the tweak file. Also contained in this tweak file is the path to the file to be modified. Almost always this path location is a file in the \data tree of SH3. Now when you change values Mini-Tweaker automatically updates the values in the file for you. You don't have to do anything else. No files to move or copy, zip, nada, nothing. You do this by pressing the 'save new value' button. Pretty simple eh?
Now here comes the 'built in' safety. If you have enabled the mod you're tweaking via JSGME then you have a safety for changes that don't work. By disabling the mod and then re-enabling the mod any changes you had previously made with Mini-Tweaker are gone! This can be good and this can be bad. I would recommend keeping a log of all changes you make in case this happens to you.
Hope this helps

Any news about the release of the Type VII C version?

it's been on hold while the SH4 effects (and more) for SH3 matured to an official releaseable version.
