James Cook Musgrove You have my salute, and once again, god bless you and thank you for what you did, my great-grandfather owed his life to those brave men who took to the seas during Dynamo, and I know you were one of them.
So god bless you sir, and may you rest in peace.

And Jim, take care mate, and thanks for letting us know.

My deepest condolences to you and your family, Jim. He's one of the generation that fought for our freedom.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them...

I'm sorry to hear of your loss Jim.
I don't know what to say except for that I know how you are feeling right now.

This is really a strange year indeed and I'm glad when it's over.....

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss Jimbuna. I know that it can be difficult to deal with a tragedy like this at this time of year, but I can only imagine the magnitude of losing someone so close. I offer my condolences, and may you to remember the good times and memories that you and your dad shared together in life.

That's so sad Jim, I hope you and your family come to terms with this asap!
Sounds like it was quick and peaceful, hopefully so.
All the best my friend!

Sorry for your loss, Jim, sounds like he was a great man. May I ask what he did during the war?

IT never occured to me that you would mention to him that I even existed. I know we talked about him a little, and I still look at the service records you sent me from time to time. I'm just sorry I didn't get to meet him in person.

Fair thee well, old sailor.

Jim, to you and yours I will offer my deepest sympathies, since losing a loved one is never easy.

However - I will remind you - he and others of his generation are true heroes. You recall what they say of heroes - they truly never die, but fade or ride into the sunset as we honor their memory.

May his soul find its rest and shelter in the hand of the Creator.
