Hi Vecko,
Twice I've run into Class A destroyers that ID as merchant and fly the red ensign. I figure these are the TFL's that are used for the new fleet AI (Great job, as it is working and noticeable as the BB and fast Troop Ships followed them away at high speed.)
Is the non-escort tag on them needed for scripting, or just left over from testing?

I'm afraid so, yes...It's very important to have at least one fast, hard to hit target with non warship AI In certain groups like Task Forces with capital ships or TT convoys. I discovered this while I was trying to deal with several ugly AI issues and the solution was proved to be quite adequate ...

Thanks for the info, I'll always be careful when approaching a 'merchant' from now on.. during Norway it lead me toward the BB Task Force!
(A sad story, 3 hits on the BB but 2 were duds and, as your AI was working, it kept on sailing away as I got swamped with angry escorts! Good Job!)

hi i am currently installing the steam version of the patch but when i open up the generic file patcher and start to patch i get this warning " Patch file: D:program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\silent Hunter 5\TDW_GenericPatcher_v_1_0_168_0\PatchesSH5\TDW_SH 5_Patches.s5 p: D:\program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\silent Hunter 5\sh5.exe dosen't exist!

can anyone tell me what is going wrong please?

- Few optimization tweaks for env/static subs.
- Various files/controllers fixes which will (finally) prevent all CTDs when sub flags are used in modded game.
- Added TheDarkWrait's/The Beast's submarine flags (playable subs only, no flags for U-FlAK yet) and turm fixes.
- Added global wind controller to turm flags so that flags can be influenced both by wind and sub's movement.
- Removed some unnecessary files.
- Updated SH5 validator ignore list.

I just tried to bought Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon just because i love 80's theme and synthwave for about 5e.
You know what? It wanted to register me into uplay just after install..

I have done the reinstallation several times in a row now - it must be something with the mods, because the game until 1.2.0 runs fine.



I checked that I have installed the game and patched to 1.2.0.
I have downloaded WOS 1.06 and Update 10 - MD5Sums okay.
I have activated both after another.
I have properly configured (with directory) and run TDW's GGPatcher.

Where am I going wrong? What have I missed to do?

I guess you are missing "fresh" DirectX9 ? Do you use any win compatibility options?
