I have read this thread. Yes, some people have had problems, but others like myself have used the mod with no problems. As I suggested in my last post, I'm not saying that the mod is not the problem, I'm saying I have never experienced it and I have used it for almost two years on many different careers. Never had a crash. Never had any unusual behavior that I couldn't trace to other mod conflicts. That is the only reason I asked the question and the opinions of others.

If the choice is perfect weather at mission start versus random crash dives and save game corruption, I'll take the former.

I would have to agree with that completely. I have worked long and hard at having a good working SH3/GWX install and mod list that I like and that doesn't give me any CTDs or other buggy surprises. I would get rid of any mod that interfered with that.

Well, I didn't think you had ulterior motives and my intent was not to imply that you did. The entire purpose of my post was to answer the questions asked. The questions asked in the post were:

Maybe you are thinking of another mod?

So the first purpose of my post was to clarify, that, in fact, no, I was not thinking of another mod.

How do you know that this mod was the cause?

The second purpose of my post was to give you the best recollection of my methodology for determining that the mod was the cause.

Anybody else?

The third purpose of my post was to offer 3 (or 4 depending on how you look at it) threads full of opinions on how the mod works.

So the entire purpose of my post was to answer the asked questions, not to imply you had ulterior motives.

I think we may have had a misunderstanding and for that I apologize. I didn't take it as suggesting an ulterior motive. You have done a very good job in explaining your reasons for not liking the mod and I thank you for that. The misunderstanding might be...

I should have explained that I was asking for anyone else who has not had this problem. From my post..

but I play at x256 TC a lot with no issues. Anybody else?
