Hiya's,

It's for SH5

Howto Install (bear in mind this mod can be somewhat incompatible with others mods)

You can either extract the mod to the mods folder in jsgme directly

Or what i do is extract to eg : desktop, then copy/paste to mods folder that jsgme has created, enable mod/s using jsgme, best after a bunker save (not sure if new career's needed ? )

If you don't know what jsgme is, google/dl/install .........

It's a tool that allows mods to be enabled without you having to go chasing through folder upon folder etc to install mod/s

In jsgme you can also save mod lists etc

(tip) open saved configs and you can edit them via notepad, just make sure the mouse cursor is at the very end before saving

Nice mod winkelmander, and thanks for sharing it of course.

But why not giving credits where credits are due ?

I'm of course considering some notes in the readme for my Improved Engine Sounds mod in a way so that everyone may feel free to use the sound samples of it for his own SH5 mod.

But I'd say at least you could have asked me about the usage of them in your mod, just as a sign of decency dont you think ?

just to let you know I find that the alarm bell keeps letting out little short rings after I have crash dived. It becomes SO annoying I have had to uninstall your mod.

It really sucks since I looooove everything else about the mod.

Awesome mod. Is there a way to raise the volume on them a bit? The stock sounds sometimes are a lot louder so I keep fooling with my system constantly in order to hear your sounds louder. Then a stock sound comes on and I have to turn the vol. down again. Keep doing this for several hours and u go nutz. I really don´t want to uninstall as they are .

replace "MODS\DBSM_Speech_1_0_4\Data\Sound\Submarine Bell.wav" with the "Submarine Bell_old.wav" in the same folder. with this sound the problem has disappeared for me.
