Just found out it wasn't Rapidshare... it was me.

The other day I found a neat looking program called Star Downloader 1.44 free. Well, I got it and installed it after some thought. Sure enough I didn't think long enough and installed it. It wouldn't run, wouldn't uninstall. All I got were errors. Went back and got the Pro version and installed it for a free 30 day trial. Then I uninstalled it. Now Rapidshare is working fine again.

So the moral of the story..... stay away from Star Downloader... any version. And think about what you download to use, if you've never heard of anyone using it before.

I've been using Star Downloader for years, and have never had any problems with it. If you take the time (2 seconds) to read the 5th line down on the Rapidshare chart (the one with the Premium/Free buttons on the bottom) it says "Support for download-accelerators" will not work for Free access, only for Premium. On sites that don't block them (accelerators), Star Downloader works like a charm. Being able to pick up where you left off (resume) a d/l has saved me hundreds of hours over the years, let alone it's ability to do 'multiple' d/l's of the same file at the same time from the same site. For those with dial-up a d/l accelerator is almost required for MEGA MB downloads, UNLESS you like to get 98% of the file downloaded and have the connection lost and have to start from scratch again, and again, and .....

Just my 2-cents worth.

Q6: After installing GW, I get a black sky during the daytime.
This issue is possible due to other mods interfering with IuB through a faulty installation
of GW and SH3 Commander. If this happens, use the “Rollback” option in SH3
Commander, disable GW in JSGME, and then enable it again. To avoid similar file
problems with *any* mod in the future, ALWAYS rollback SH3Cmdr BEFORE
installing/enabling new mods. Whilst usually not a problem, it is always a good habit to
get into to ensure that you limit the potential for file clashes.
