Convoy Trouble

It's 1941, I'm patrolling AM29 and the radioman informs me of a contact...

Contact Reported. Enemy Large Convoy
Grid AM15, Course ENE, Speed 7 KTS

I plot an intercept course and after several hours, I find myself in perfect position to launch an attack. I enter the convoy undetected and line up a bow and stern shot... things are going great... I get ready to fire and pop the scope just above the water and what do I find?

Almost the whole convoy is American! T3s, T2s, C3s... all of them off limits. Only 4 small merchants are flying a british flag.

My wife didn't care when I told her, but I was hoping for some sympathy from you guys
