Default WIP Texture mapping issues

Hey guys,

I've been attempting to mod a new aircraft with some success. Currently, I am having texture issues with it. I'm using 3DS Max v8 and Gimp for the tga editing, and Hex editor to change the minor stuff. Following the processes laid forth by the elders, I've managed to aquire enough knowledge to be dangerous. Maybe some of you guys have run into the particular problem that I have with the texture:
(Disclaimer- I'm no artist and its still work in progress, but hey; its my first time)

completely disappearing wings and part of the fuselage, the skunk works engineers would love that knowledge

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've ran several searches with no avail.
