I don't think so. Looks more like a graphics problem. Indeed, it's a graphic problem.

If you met that one in the middle of the night, not knowing it was a graphic glitch... it'd be like the Titanic heading STRAIGHT at your sub! I'd let out a very high-pitched scream of terror and surprise!! :rotfl:

I have the "pox" also...had it from day one right out of the box. It's been with me through all the patches too. I just live with it.

Maybe it's just that your card is one of the older models. With a 9550 works great.

I sometimes have simmilar errors on my radeon 9100 but they don't have shadow on water ;-) It's usualy a problem with sky - sometimes small part of it changes to black for a short part of second. The error always occures in the center of the view and only when using the bridge view (not uzo)

Exactly, just the bridge, FLAK and cannon view.

Could be your graphcs card overheating causeing artifacting.

Check to see if your Fan is clear of dust, and take the side of your case off for a while when playing to check the circulation.

It actually casts a reflection onto the water, I don't think an overheating graphics card would cause something like that?
Weird, might just be a graphic glitch, have you tried with other display drivers? :hmm:
