Playing campaign under TWOS mod

Hi, I am new to TWOS. Just started a new campaign. But when the game starts, I spawned on the boat's bridge instead of on the dock where I can buy equipment and accept new missions. I watched other people's utube video. They all spawned on dock. Is there anything wrong with my game or the way I played it?

You have probably "missed" your SH5 install location while you were extracting main TWoS mod...Check install instructions once again and happy holidays!

If I missed the main installation location then why I can still see TWOS opening screen when I launched the game?

Just a final note to my thread before you can close it. So other people won't fall for the same issues. It turns out there is NOTHING wrong with my TWOS installation. If you run into the same issue as mine, just restart a new campaign. It will fix the issue. TWOS feels very unstable. It requires some reload and restart in order to fix things.

I'm afraid that your final note wont explain anything. What kind of instability were you referring to? The problem you described could only be caused if you've decide to load campaign save from the stock game into your SH5 with TWoS, although I have no idea why would anyone do something like this...

You know what? Let me ask you another quick question. Sometimes when I first spawn in my boat or in bunker, I got a black screen with a note saying "camera out of bound". This only happens sporadically, cannot be reliably reproduced. Have you seen this kinda issue before?

That really shouldn't be happening in properly installed SH5+TWoS, not even "sometimes" as you say. Never had such problem in my game nor do I remember that anyone have ever reported it...

I am just picking up on your problem, it sounds to me that you may have enabled 2 optional mods where there is a choice.

Your experiences over your posts are not in keeping how TWoS is, there are no stability or ctd problems with this game.

If you say your game starts on the bridge and not in the bunker unfortunately that can only be one down to something you have or have not done.

If you would like your mod list checked over please feel free to post it.

This is my mod list. On a 2nd thought, I may have found out what was really happening. When I first entered the campaign, I got a black screen with a message "camera out of range". Then I was randomly clicked in order to get out of that black screen and probably started the patrol by accident. So any thought on black screen issue/"camera out of range" issue?

I do not think you need to have mod number 1 enabled this early in your career as it makes a verification everytime you load a game save.

If you go to C:\Documents\SH5\data\users delete any entries there.
Start a new campaign and see if the game acts as it should. If you are still getting the same problem as before then I think a complete re-install should be considered.

If a re-install has been done then first start the stock game tutoraial before installing TWoS and use the Esc key to come out of the tutorial.
As the game starts to load hit the Esc key as soon as the girls picture appears.

Where can I read more about the campaign verifier? It always fails in my case, it never says verification OK.
