Initiating a Campaign.

Training is going well. My XO and I are getting pretty good at hitting the target with most of our torpedoes in the Historic Missions. But... I read and copied off a great instruction for beginning a campaign, but when requesting my very first mission orders and the Flotilla Commander goes yada-yada-yada, I receive no missions to select from. I would continue with the recommended procedure, but having made no selection, all I get is "Are you sure you want to continue without..." If I can get the first mission of the campaign started, I know I'll earn my Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit der Swords and Diamonds in no time. How do I get started.

the first mission is the one where you look for a polish task force. you have to complete that mission in the time constraint or you will not complete it.

Look for a check mark on the map, click on it, read the mission report, click on request this mission in the box that popped up, click on the X to close the map. Now you can start the mission.
