Here is the situation:
enemy sub is above thermal layer which is @~1000 deep; solution is pretty good and 2 torps are dispatched towards her with 200 running depth but with a quite deep floor preset 2000. enemy sub is diving below thermal layer while torps are approaching torps passing above diving enemy sub is there any way to influence/guide torps to dive deeper when required? is there any best/universal "torp running depth"? |

In my experience, I've had no issue with a sub being too shallow or too deep for a torpedo. The torps tend to have a pretty large vertical angle on the search cone. Having torpedoes lock on is usually an issue with not using the proper weapons settings per Reinforce Alert mod.
