Invalid Directory?

This is where my sh4 is installed:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific

When I try to install the 1.4 patch on Win 10 I get this message, Invalid Directory. Is there a workaround for this?

Well, since you have Windows 10 that is an INvalid directory not an inVALid directory

The solution is to install SH4 somewhere outside your system "protected" Program Files directory. Make a root directory c:\Ubisoft\Wolves of the Pacific and install it there. Your game will work as intended now.

I remembered I also had a copy of SH4 with the U-Boat Missions disk. So I tried that and it installs properly.
If it would help and I can post a copy of my Ubisoft game folder prior to my starting the game I will. I wouldn't know how or where to post it though. On the Forum, somewhere or wherever?
